And did you know mental health challenges face people in retirement as well? Addiction, depression, and even suicidal thoughts can be problems we face.

I suppose it's a busy holiday week that's got people away from Wisdo today!

I spent my early afternoon smoking turkey parts. We have a whole one going into a vertical infrared roaster, but there are never enough extremeties to go around!

And this year it's delivered to others vs sharing a meal together at the table...

Here's a fun thing to do to prepare for retirement. pull out a piece of paper and take five minutes to write down as many things as possible that you're curious about. I think quietly before you begin asking yourself what do I really want to see myself doing or being a part of in retirement. Examples might be writing a book, skydiving, theater, computers, museums, family tree, and much more.

My husband and I have been retired together since April. Unfortunately I have been having anxiety and depression since my sister passed 3 years ago. My husband can be quite difficult and it’s hard along with the pandemic. Retirement is much different than I expected. We both really don’t have any hobbies. Some advice?

Hi, Denise. I just saw this reply from November on the Wisdo desktop platform. In Nov, we were using the smartphone app only, and there were some challenges to Android phones seeing the messages. I'm Live now (Jan 26, 4:04PM PST), so please join in. Otherwise, please reply with an update as to your situation these past three months and we can continue the conversation.
